New Orleans Lighthouse, Lake Pontchartrain poster- http://ow.ly/1p3jV
Destroyed by Hurricane Katrina this lighthouse once stood at Lakeshore Drive and West End Blvd. on the shore of Lake Pontchatrain at the entrance of the New Basin Canal. It was put in storage and funds are being raised to re-construct it. MAny homes in New orleans and along the Gulf Coast duplicated the style.
