Dr. Jerry Kenneth Schwehm, President and Moderator of the American Association of Wedding Officiants, a native of New Orleans, has conducted many personalized weddings over the past 17 years, usually referrals for wedding planners and hotels in New Orleans. He has done wedding ceremonies in many locations, including outside locations, in chapels, parks, homes, halls, hotels, backyards, restaurants, fishing boats, sailboats, his painting studio, and in his living room. In historic old homes in New Orleans, outside in old French Quarter court yards, in a swamp, in historic Jackson Square, and in the French Market, among other fantastic places in the Greater New Orleans area. He has done Theme Weddings, Jazz weddings, Mardi Gras weddings, Pirate weddings, and Beach weddings among others.
