Original Road Kill Shirts

In 1997 we did a few Road Kill Cafe shirts on the web and added in the potted meat can labels, cut them out and glue them on a can. It was a novelty and fun to sell. Here is the link to the original Cafe press Store back then-http://www.cafepress.com/roadkillstuff Since those old days other people have made many Road Kill designs to sell on the web but we still sell the above design the most. On both Fig Street Stores at Zazzle and Cafe Press there are over a thousand designs of unique shirts and gifts sold 24/7 on the web.

In 1996 I helped out at a Cafe in the Swamp we all called Road Kill Cafe in jest. As a novelty item we would print Road Kill Labels for potted meat cans and re-sell them at the Cafe. I also made a t-shirt and other items at Cafe Press, see http://www.cafepress.com/figstreetstudio/479009

Kiss My Grits

Girls Raised In The South is a copyrighted phrase and use of it must be by approval. I ran into this problem early on in designing t-shirts because I have many designs of GRITS but not the one that is copyrighted, just I like GRITS for breakfast. The company with the copyright then objected to my use of GRITS until I squarked back that I had GRITS on my shirts and bibs since childhood. Finally my I Love Grits, and Grits are for lovers shirts were OK. So I say Just Kiss My Grits-
