I painted a camp on the Pearl River a few years back as a starry night. I always like Tooker's camp with its hot tub and stop sign so make it the subject of a favorite painting. I was surprised too that Sheryl Crow did her video for "Love Is free" in the came area I canoe along the Pearl River. I assume she too felt a connection with the beauty of the area.
