How application of WD-40 saved my Yamaha
Vino Scooter after a flood.

Scooter Vino by figstreetstudio

A few days before hurricane Katrina I got a 50cc Yamaha Vino that I had in a friend's back yard in Metairie, LA. It sat in the flood waters a few days. Along with all the other disaster issues of that time that kept me real busy, I just took the scooter and placed it in a shed in my place in Pearl River, LA. About a year after I decided to just spray the scooter with WD-40 until I had time to do something with it. Another year went by and finally I got time to work on it. I took most everything apart cleaned and sprayed it with more WD-40 and it started. It ran for a while but I could not keep it running. It sat another year and I finally got time to work with it again. It now runs, not well but good enough to get around. Thanks WD-40!
